New CDC Guidelines on Wearing Masks

We are excited to see the CDC’s guidance issued today that fully vaccinated adults can safely resume activities indoors or outdoors without masks or distancing.   This brings us all an important step closer to returning to “normal” and seeing your smiling faces.  Oregon OSHA published a permanent rule on May 4, 2020 on this topic and BCS will continue to comply with this rule while it is in effect.  https://osha.oregon.gov/OSHARules/div1/437-001-0744.pdf

This OSHA rule requires face coverings for the safety of our employees.  Also, Governor Brown’s County Risk Level framework continues to regulate our practice in this area.  According to the governor’s recent press release and the Oregon Health Authority’s website https://govstatus.egov.com/OR-OHA-COVID-19 “once 70% of people in Oregon ages 16 and older receive a first dose of a vaccine, most of the restrictions laid out in the framework will be lifted. Folks in Oregon may need to continue wearing masks and practice physical distancing once the milestone is reached, but all other aspects of the County Risk Level framework will be abandoned.”

We encourage everyone to get the vaccine and please continue to wear face coverings while visiting BCS facilities.

Thank you,
