Birch Replication Seminar 2017

The Birch Community Services (BCS) Replication Seminar is a three day classroom and hands-on training designed to inspire and equip participants to launch a similar program in their own community. Tour the BCS warehouse, serve alongside participants, and/or visit the two BCS community gardens (permaculture style or raised beds). Draw on the expertise of BCS staff and leadership in one-on-one and small group conversations.

Professionals with expertise in nonprofit fundraising, legal, insurance, warehouse management, and program delivery will share on:


  • Birch Community Services model

  • Startup Fundraising

  • Grant Writing Basics

  • Applying for Non-profit status

  • Nonprofit Insurance

  • Scaling up

  • Education

  • Gardening

Early-bird registration cost is $100 for the first person from your organization, and $75 for additional attendees by July 15, 2017. After July 15, 2017 the cost is $150 for the first person and $100 for additional attendees. Seating is limited to the first 30 registered guests.
